Earthlink.net experiences?

Anyone had any experience with earthlink? Looks good on the outside.
:) Just curious, as they have dialups here and in san diego.

I would say pass on earthlink. I have seen really bad email
routing problems with them. I usually push people towards
a local provider. Or maybe try prodigy, that is what I am
currently using. I believe they give one month free trial ppp
service so you can decide for yourself.

My experience with Earthlink has generally been very positive. I've
been using them for about 6 months. They have a *very* good selection
of newsgroups, though, admittedly, the feed can be a bit slow at
times.

I have seen other EL users complain about access problems (bust
signals, etc.), but I haven't seen them. Maybe I've just been lucky.
