AT&T just changed their POP and SMPT servers to new names to brand their
service for ATT. It is still at Yahoo.

The next logical step would be changing the DSL login.

Will they bother to notify anyone this time?

(As I recall, in the previous transition, only those running their bloatware
got updated, and no notice was sent for those using routers to log into
DSL.)

Nope. Zero notice. However, I haven't seen any indication that the
account name and password have changed. I still have customers using
the old pacbell.net domain for their accounts. Only the mail servers
seem to have changed.
