The warning about this place is that it can be extremely crowded with a
very long wait, especially on the weekend. Try to eat lunch at 2:00 p.m.
or so on a weekday and you won't have much of wait during the week.
The service is pretty good, though it can take a long time to get your
food. Compared to A&J in Cupertino Village, the service here is five
star. At least they're friendly, unlike the indifferent or non-existent
service at A&J.
One GREAT feature is that the slip of paper you fill out to order has
_both English and Chinese_, unlike some similar restaurants that don't
have English menus (A&J).
I got the beef tendon noodles soup with the thick noodles which was
awesome. Also got their famous pancake wrap with beef which was excellent.
It's a little more expensive than your typical hole in the wall strip
mall Chinese restaurant. Also it's definitely not a place for those
looking for American Chinese Food, as this is a very Taiwanese
restaurant with no American style selections at all.
While many people compare Liang's to A&J, the food is really not similar
other than the beef noodle soup. A&J is famous for their xiao long bao
which aren't even offered at Liang's.
