Someone once told me there's a restaurant in Redwood City that is owned
by several 49er players. Does this restaurant still exist? If so, does
anyone know the name of the restaurant and where it's located?

Thanks!

Thanks Ray...now that I hear the name, I realize that was the one I was
told about.

The one that became the conference center was
the old Charlie Brown's. Near it was Clark's by
the bay, which became La Rotunda which became
Averidicci downstairs and something else
upstairs. A cluster of offices now surrounds
this pair or restaurants, perhaps supplying them
with a goodly percentage of their clientele.
I'm sorry Charley Brown's bailed out. Poor
timing. It was thought then that automotive
access from El Camino was necessary to keep
going. Now that Midpoint Tech Center. (The old
AMPEX campus) is built and a new multi square
foot facility going up on Harbor Blvd., there
should be plenty of mouths to be fed. Charlie
Brown's had a good bar.
