I miss Mr. Steer. It wasn't the best steak but in terms of price/
performance, it wasn't bad. I loved their pork ribs and their no-
frills "jello" dessert.

a simple search.)

I remember going to something of that sort, around that location, in
the late 70s. But when I was in Andy's BBQ, its layout was not at all
what I remembered, so the place I am thinking of must've been nearby,
between that location and Di Ciccio's, a bit further down the block.
(And, no, not The Roundhouse, which flourished in that block from the
early 70s to the 80s.)

That's funny. Someone asked about Mr. Steer and his post was answered
by Mr. Bull. (Tim will beef, but I won't be cowed!)
Did I have a comment? Yes, I did. I didn't know Mr. Steer had moved,
I thought they'd left the planet. I'll have to check 'em out on Murphy
St.
We tried Andy's just recently in this new location at ECR/San Thomas,
and we were very impressed. Starting with the wonderful BBQ smell
that wafts out into the parking lot. The '2-person sampler' was big
enough for the four of us and everything was pretty good, I thought.
One thing I don't like about Andy's new location, is that the booths are
a bit tight for the larger (or wider) adult, which the majority of
Andy's clientele (like myself) seem to be. ;-)

LOL! And if you're not on the way in, you will be on the way out!
Heh, I like the new Andy's, and am able to remain regular size.
