Several of us from the office went to Toshi's for a late lunch
on Friday, and I was extremely impressed with the sushi I had
there. I'd eaten there once before, but had a bento box that
included only a few pieces of sashimi.

The two of us who ordered sushi both agreed that it was the best
we've had in the Bay Area, by a significant margin. I, personally,
was very happy because they had plain ol' hotate nigiri, which seems
to be somewhat difficult to find in my limited experience.

The two who ordered bento boxes both insisted that their personal
favorites were still best--one in New York, the other near the
speaker's home in SF (I didn't catch the name of it).

Toshi's has a reputation for being very busy, and Friday seemed
to be no exception--the place was still nearly full when we
arrived at between 1 and 1:30pm. The last and only other time
I went there was a weeknight evening when Steve Jobs was among
those standing in line wating for a table. It's a _very_ small
place. There's something on the order of 10 or fewer tables, and
the sushi bar seats another 10-12 or so people.

For the 4 of us (two eating bento boxes, the other two eating
sushi) the total before tip was $58.
