For now, anyway. This dense bread was perfect for things like Welsh
rabbit, and was the closest thing available in the BA to the dense
moist peasant breads of Chicago's Baltic Bakery (RIP) even though it
did not contain rye.

Apparently TJ's is changing its (clench your teeth everyone)
artEEsanal bread source.

Does anyone know who made the Pain Pascal?

Pain Pascal is from Pascal Rigo a french baker who moved from Biarritz in the 1990s and who lives in San Francisco area.
