OK, so OF COURSE there are romantic restaurants in San Francisco. The question is, which are people's faves?
(I'm looking for Italian or seafood specifically, but I'll take recommendations of any kind!)

Thanks!

It's not Italian but it is romantic and really great food and service :
it's in North Beach right near the end of the cable car line off Columbus
at Chestnut - it's called ZAX's. For Italian, I like Pazzia on 3rd st. nr
harrison though it is small and friendly, it may not be private - the
food is incredible.

good luck

my favorite is buca giovanne on columbus. I'm not sure of the spelling.

downstairs... you'll feel like you're in italy... eating the best food
there is to be had.

I'll attest to that. A friend of mine is the chef there and it really is wonderful food. They just installed a pizza oven that they brought over from Italy so they can really thin crust. They have great wine.

financial/personal interest in this restaurant. It is simply the BEST
available!
