I was watching the channel 11 news on Friday afternoon (March 27,) and
they announced it was John Farley's last day. Anyone know why he's
leaving or where he's going?

According to a posting on KNTV's website comments, he was let go
because the idiots at NBC decided that since they purchased the
Weather Channel they don't NEED local weather people. I talked to
KCBS, they said they lost their weatherperson a while back too. KGO
TV said they will be keeping theirs. It's stupid because I follow the
weather closely all winter and John Farley was on target more often
than the Weather Channel, I'd say 2-1! Here is the posting:

NBC has apparently decided to dump all their local weather people as a
follow up to the acquisition of the Weather Channel last summer for $5
billion. I will miss his expertise and warmth. Doug Sinton, Emeritus
Professor, SJSU Meteorology

I can't prove it but I think Ciccio has been circulating malicious
rumors to have all local TV weathermen fired because he says there are
hidden steganographic messages buried in the TV weather maps for
people to make payroll deductions and give all their money to Bernie
Ward's Legal Defense Funds. He said he only discovered the plot when
he came across a $5 canceled check he must have written and sent to
Bernie himself. Go figure.

Is he the guy whose picture is on the Merc News weather page?

Weather isn't much of a conversation topic in
California, but boy in Dallas, it's enough that they
get it half-right on temperatures the day after
tomorrow. In the past two afternoons, it was in
the 80s and the 40s, and today, it's
supposed to be in the 60s.

Nothing new there, with you.

Actually, if I were to do that, it would be so the stations would
replace them with pretty women a la KRON. Sorry to disappoint you
Bozo, that's *ADULT* women.

[Bozo's delusions about hidden messages he sees on weather maps,

Heh. Defense fund??? That ship sailed long ago. Unless, the pervert
Bernie still owes his lawyer. In which case, the pervert Bernie
deserves that too. Thanks for bringing up that the pervert Bernie
suffers with even a tad more punishment. May other perverts with a
penchant for child porn take heed. Though I'm sure such a savvy long-
time lawyer like Doron Weinberg knew to get all his fees up front.

It will be interesting to see how Doron does with Phil Spector. He's
done a good job delaying the trial of that pervert psychiatrist
Ayres. Man, that the pervert Bernie had to take a deal even when he
had such a courtroom ace, must mean the pervert Bernie mush have been
REALLY guilty.

Thanks for bringing it up Bozo.

Sheeesh! I thought we had a deal, Ciccio. You said you'd shut-up and
disappear if I fulfilled your fantasy and pretended to molest you like
you've been begging me to for the past 6 months! If I did you said
you'd shut-up about Bernie, go away, leave us alone, and never ever
mention your fantasy life with Bernie again. What a big blowhard you
are and no pun intended.
