Indy 500 on radio?

Can anyone let me know what radio station in the Bay Area will be
carrying the Indianapolis 500? I'm going to watch it, but I'd rather
listen to Sid Collins than Paul Page and his bunch on TV. Thanks.

I know for sure that KSRO-1350 from Santa Rosa will be carrying it -- you
may or may not be able to pick it up in Menlo Park. However, I'd be
_very_ surprised if KHTK-1140 from Sacramento (50,000 watts) isn't
carrying it (they run a lot of NASCAR stuff), so I'd also try there.

KFBK News Radio 1530 will be carrying the Indy 500 on radio this year. It
starts at 8 AM PT. That's good news for race fans, though it does pre-empt
not only On Computers, but the KFBK Sunday Morning News with Rebecca Green and
some guy named...uh...Mike something...Ward? ;)

Don't worry. Not only will On Computers return next week on KFBK, but so will
the Sunday Morning News. It'll be my last one until 2 weeks following, since
I'm going on vacation on the 5th.

Prepare to be very surprised! :) KFBK 1530, AM will be carrying the race
due to our committment to the NBA playoffs. Because of the NBA, we are
not carrying as much motor racing as we did last year.
