I'm looking for an investigator who may have been recently featured in
the Contra Costa Times or another newspaper in Marin County or SF. His
name is Alan Chu. Does anyone know how to reach him?

You may be right. That's kind of an odd way to contact people though.
One has to sign-up. The most likely one is probably the one on the
bottom. The top one is the mgr of a 400+ people company and the third is
into fireworks. I think the one I'm looking for is an older fellow with
a small business.

I do the believe the fellow I am looking for has an office, possibly for
just him.

The Sunnyvale PD does cyber crime investigations. Why not call them
and ask for a few names. Why this particular person?

According to a friend he made a big splash in one of the papers. My
friend doesn't recall the details. I've never had a lot of luck calling
the police. Maybe the SV are more into it. I'll give it a try. Maybe
even a PD up the peninsula.

I dealt with the Sunnyvale PD years ago with a jerk on the internet.
Worked for me. I'll be at a Christmas party with some er um government
types and will check with a few people who out to know him. Often when
you make a splash, it really doesn't mean you are anything
particularly exceptional other than a person seeking media attention.

Marin, Sonoma, Napa and I think CoCo County DA Investigations units
all participate in a "cyber task force". Try any of those counties
DA's offices.
