Hello Open Badge community. We have a great opportunity with a tight turnaround. The
DevLearn conference (September 29-October 2 in Las Vegas) organizers have asked me to put together a track for the conference that spotlights digital badges and their affordances. The audience are primarily folks involved in workplace learning, though there is a strong academic/education contingent and folks from government and defense as well. They typically draw more than 2,500 executives, managers, and practitioners actively focused on both proven and emerging technologies, strategies, and best practices that can be put to work for organizational learning.
We are looking for several presenters. Presentation topics are open, so long as the focus is digital badges, e.g., how to design badge systems, badges and learning pathways, badges and assessment, badges and analytics, badges and e-portfolios, case studies…
If you are interested in being a presenter (all sessions are 50 minutes), send me private email with your presentation proposal. Include the following information (click
here for examples):
- Your name
- Your title
- Your organization
- Your email
- Your bio (100 words max.)

Presentation proposals must be received by August 18. Those selected to present will receive complimentary registration ($1,695 value).
I look forward to receiving your proposals!!
