Hi all,

Some recent events that warrant our attention.

First, many of you have seen/read about the recent research and work from the New Lit Lab at UConn. If you want to read the full report from RRQ, please shoot me a message.

Second, my first column for the Journal of Adult and Adolescent Literacy was published this week. I start making the case for our web literacy work. In a future column I'll be collaborating with Doug and Greg McVerry to elaborate more on the WebLitMap. We're trying to create more awareness...and buy in for this initiative.

We need more people reading, blogging, and talking about this framework. Feel free to share both widely.
