BA411 SAR- we are almost done with this simulation stuff woooooh!

Hey everyone,

 

I have attached what we have so far for the SAR. Thank you Jesse and Marty for helping me write some of it.

 

Jesse- it all looked great

 

Marty- I rearranged the order of the paragraphs to align with SWOT instead of WTSO. Also, I had to add more analytical data to back up the arguments, but please take a look at it and let me know what you think.

 

What still needs written....

 

Porter's Model (I think Marty talked with you, Lauren, about writing that part, so let me know what's up)

 

Outlook- the short-term decisions that will be made this upcoming "year" and the long-term decisions for the future

 

Conclusion

 

I will continue working on the paper all day tomorrow (well technically today). Please let me know what parts any of you are willing to help write and when you can have them to me....preferably asap so that I can send the paper to Pete by late afternoon tomorrow to get feedback in time for submission on Tuesday.

I just added the "outlook" section.  just out of curiosity is there anything drastic that we want to do in the long term? Since we won't be making decisions for the next two rounds I basically focused on how we are going to continue to issue stock and invest heavily in marketing, sales and promotion while continuing to ensure the sustainability and reliability of our products in all five segments.. aligning with our strategy of broad differentiation. I didn't say anything about adding a new product or doing anything new and innovative because we don't really have the ability to since the last capsim round is done. Sorry I think i just sent a blank email...anyway....i attached the porters model segment to amandas email. Let me know if you need help with anything else. I wasnt able to open up the sensory industry doc that is in angel so tomorrow i might add in a few more statistics since i was unable to do that today...but other than that its complete. it looks really good so far!! and let me know if there is anything else or additional changes that should be made.

ok- Thank you to everyone for getting back to me with a different part.

 

Neha-can you proof read the paper? Please be very thorough because, unfortunately we are half a page over the 6 page maximum. (and do not have much of a conclusion) So can you consolidate any paragraphs or get rid of insignificant information?

Heyyy, 

I attached a graph for porters analysis. I didnt know what figure number to put and wrote exactly after what sentence number to reference the use of the graph. Orr if you send me the most recent copy of the report I can add it as well. Please let me know if you need help with anything else.
