Hello Pete,

We have attached our report and would appreciate any feedback.  We are currently 1/2 a page over the page limit and were wondering if you had any specific feedback as to where it would be best to take material out to condense our report.

Thanks a lot!

The paper look pretty good. Make the changes I recommend and come out with a more firm executive summary. I think it will end well for you.

In red is Pete's feedback to our executive summary if we want to include it in the intro.

Exec Summary with Pete's feedback
To the Shareholders of Chester 45:

Chester 45 has differentiated themselves from our competitors by remaining consistent and meeting the needs of our customers. We maintained a broad differentiation strategy by spreading our resources evenly across all five segments.  Our shareholders see us a stable and reliable company which is relatively risk averse.

gain in net worth over the past year was $3,943,000 with a stock price set at $36.19 which increased the value of our stock by $5.64 within the past year. Our closing stock price has continued to increase as a result of our investments. In 2011 and 2012 we issued stock in order to increase our amount of cash flow in the next period in an attempt to increase marketing expenditures as well as spend more on research and development.

Too much detail for an exec sum

We were able to create a positive ROA of 4.9% by taking advantage of our assets and managing our inventory and cash. We were able to keep our variable costs below all our competitors at $87,614 while maintaining steady sales of $120,519 thus having a positive ROS of 4.1% and a strong contribution margin of 27.3%.

Overall, Chester 45 has had a very successful past four years. We have remained competitive in our industry, avoided any emergency loans, and continued to increase our ROA.  Our products have continued to meet the satisfaction of our target market in terms of performance and size. I went to see him in office hours with Neha. Metrics are a must for the DuPont section. I have been working on fixing the rest of the paper for the last 3 hours. Lauren- since you wrote the DuPont part, can you please add tables from excel that help to back up your arguments about the ratios?

Pete kept stressing the fact that the key part of this paper is proof and backing up everything we say! No one sent me any charts with their parts...not good. (the only charts seen are what I did for the Executive Summary)
Attached is the most recent paper...
