Participants in the October Task Definition webinar asked when we transition from the Super3 (Plan, Do, Review) to the Big6. The Super3 is a simplified version of the Big6 Skills designed for the youngest students. Mike mentioned pre-K to first grade as the target audience for Super3; Colet noted that Montana Standards transition from Super3 to Big6 between second and third grade.
Another participant asked how you would apply this in a mixed-ability classroom. It was suggested that posting a chart of the correspondence between Super3 and Big6;
comparing
the language could help students be able to self-assess where they are in the
information problem solving process.
