Five winters have passed,
Flowed by like Our Rivers,
Since Their Majesties called us to serve,
Sit upon the gift-stools.
We have endured ill winds,
Rejoiced with Our family,
Wept with our friends,
And watched as Lillies grew,
Arrows flew, wars raged and hammers were forged.
Now with heavy heart but light mind,
We call our kin, raise our voices to be heard.
Our liege lord and lady,
Will soon release us from oaths, call others to the high chairs of Three Rivers.
What strength we have,
What grace we have learned,
Is born of Our people and
Will ever after be given in support of them.
