Business Meeting Notes:

8/2/2021

• Latest updates from the Board. https://www.sca.org/news/resolution-to-further-lift-suspension-of-in-person-activity-in-the-sca-as-of-august-1-2021/

• Indoor site for fall/winter.  Mason's Lodge in Webster Groves.  Wednesday night conflicts with a youth group meeting there.  They may move.  Consider sharing the space?  They take the top floor, and we take the first floor, which is all we are currently looking at renting.  Immaculate Conception: pursue if The Mason's doesn't work.

• Lilies Party - All Baronies Party.  Productive Zoom meeting on Sunday.  Amba is coordinator.  Party to start after Court. Set up needs to  be completed before Court.  Carnival theme.  Budget request $600 to present for approval on Wednesday.  Bar donations (no hard liquor) needed.  Sansabar will sponsor a non-alcoholic bar.  Volunteers and some crew chiefs still needed.  Contact Amba to help.

• Calontir Saints - Fall Camping event.  October 22-24 at Puddleford.  Armoured and steel fighting, archery, equestrian.  Pavel style steak thang.  Budget to be approves at meeting on Wednesday, tentatively $2,500.  Pre person event fee = $15. Kids = free.  Jon will work on flier for the Barge, as deadline is approaching.

• Winter Court - will not be happening in 2021.  Baronial A&S Championship will be delayed until Chieftains 2022.  Auction delayed until Winter Court 2022.

• Crown Tournament - Eilien will discuss with site about converting the day event into a camping event now that camping is allowed.

• Chieftains - February 26, 2022.  Need to find a site and steward soon.  Duncan has requested an Anglo Saxon theme.

• Garb and Gear Swap - At meeting Wednesday, August 18, organized by Amba.

Officer Updates:

• A&S - Mjoll has requested $10 to purchase crochet yarn for cord making.

• Seneschal - Eilien requested officers submit a 2021 budget request for the remainder of the year to be approved at Wednesday meeting.

• Exchequer - Giacomo says progress is being made on updating the signature cards and moving to a bank that is better suited for a not-for-profit.

• Minister of Youth - Maire wants loaner gear for youth combat.  Also needs a drop dead deputy and volunteers for youth activities at Lilies War. 

• Web Minister - Jon has the new website almost ready to go live.

• Herald - Brynjolfr has been helping members with designing devices.
