AGM and Updates
Also at the Nationals at Torbay:
We will be holding the Euro Class association AGM, and Simon and Crispy will be giving the latest update on plans for Sydney and how to get our boats there.
As
a consequence of the rules changes and in particular the positioning of
correctors, we will be eyeballing boats for compliance and any later
arrivals on Thursday, prior to race one. I had hoped to have scales
available from early Wednesday, but these won't be with us until the
evening therefore if anyone wants to 'weigh in' on Thursday this could
be arranged. We wont be checking sails from mainstream builders or foils
whcih we agreed at the 2014 worlds in Garda.
As
the last AGM was at Whitstable 2022, we'll do a quick review, new
boats, rules amendments, attendance at events, membership & accounts
and election of officers. Class Chair, Vice C, treasurer, membership
secretary, events and technical. We'll also be thinking ahead with an
update on events for 2025 from Gi and discussion to generate ideas for
2026 worlds venue.
