APOLLO 18-2011-the tale of the actual lst apollo mission.  based on secret film footage released n the subject line website in 2011.
18 was a secret d.o.d. mission.
once the 2 dudes are on the lunar surface things are a bit strange.
they find tracks and the tracks lead to a russian moon module.  blood.  a dead cosmonaut.
they are having some problems.
hearing things.   the flag is missing.
turns out all the moon rocks are not rocks, but crabby killers.(not giant mutant things)
i liked this  sort of a modern take on all those old films where people landed on some planet or something and picked up hostiles from space.
thought it was fairly imaginative and well done.  the actions ands words of the character as the tension mounted due to the desperation of their situation was very realistic to me.
we weren't overrun with critters, just the right touch.
well told tale.  tense, with the tension rising throughout.  nice ending.

I've been meaning to see this one, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

We watch bad movies so you don't have to. I can see it now. A line up of
slightly effeminate zombies dancing and singing 'It's Raining Brains,'
to the tune of 'It's Raining Men.'

Thought this looked at boring in the previews. I see it's making the rounds on Showtime so I'll give it a go.

i caught it there.  probably wouldn't have watched it otherwise.  for some reason i was kind of surprised i liked it so much, especially considering the filming technique. many flicks i have simply turned off.

I'm actually a fan of found footage horror flicks. One set on the moon sounds boring though. Gonna check it out though. Now that I have Netflix instant on my tv I've got flick overload.

I don't mind some. If it's done well, it can be pretty good. But found
footage done badly is truly horrendous.
