Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle
I really liked this movie, of course I related to it. When I was
growing up before it was the norm for fast food joints to stay open
past 10 pm, White Castle was always there for a late night snack when
the muncies attacked.
Fast Food Nation
Just saw this film last month. I liked it pretty well. Fictional
representation of a real problem.
Blood Freak
One of my all time favorites. The story goes something like this.
Good biker Hershell meets Angel who takes him home with her. Hershell
meets Angel's not so good sister Anne. Anne introduces Hershell to
pot and he gets addicted after one hit. Anne help Hershell get a job
at a turkey farm. Evil scientists at the turkey farm give Hershell
more marijuana and the get him to eat a whole contaminated turkey.
Hershell mutates into a turkey monster that can only survive by
consuming the blood of drug addicts. While all this is going one we
have a chain smoking narrator whom appears between scenes to preach to
us on the evils of drugs and sex.
As if this plot were not enough it also contains some good gore
scenes, originally obtaining an X rating for violence. One of the
worse looking monster costumes ever created. Some bad acting,
directing and photography. Some of the funniest lines ever spoken in
a B-movie. When Anne sees Hershell for the first time after his
transformation she still wants to marry him but, "What will the
children think of their father looking like that"….and then "My God
what if the children look like their father". Hershell's only reply
is "gobble gobble".
Motel Hell
Meat's meat and a man's gotta eat. Farmer Vincent kidnaps
unsuspecting victims along the highway, plants them in his garden
until they are just right then turns them into jerky. What more can
be said about this classic. MGM has announced a remake of this movie
due to be released in December 2007. Why can't they just leave well
enough alone?
Bad Taste
Before Peter Jackson became famous for bringing Lord of the Rings to
the screen, he made Bad Taste. Intergalactic fast food chain has
shown up on earth to find people to be on the menu.
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
What happens when food attacks. Not one of my favorite films but
still a good concept for a parody.
Soylent Green
A cult classic. Harry Harrison's solution to the over population
problem. One of my favorite scenes on "The Simpsons" was where they
did a flash forward to the future and a grown up Bart and geriatric
Homer go to the movies together. While Bart is buying tickets Homer
is drooling over the concession stand display "Ummmm, soylent green".
Monty Python's Meaning of Life
While the movie isn't all about eating the restaurant skit still
deserves mentioning. On the same vein there is a similar scene in
"Stand By Me".
Hamburger... The Motion Picture
Russel has been expelled from every college he has gone to
Busterburger University is his last hope. 80's R-rated cheese with
lots of nudity and fart jokes.
Alferd Packer: The Musical aka Cannibal: the Musical
Before South Park Trey Parker and Matt Stone created the only musical
ever made about cannibalism. What more could be said.

One good thing about growing older, as my memory goes I find that I
don't mind leftovers so much.

You have GOT to be freakin kidding

I have this movie in my collection. Not the greatest movie in the
world, but it entertains me and it definitely has some great moments,
***This is one of my favorite comedies of recent years. Yes, it's a stoner
comedy, but it's not like other stoner movies. It has a brain. I ate at a
White Castle for the first time in my life last year.
Fast Food Nation
Just saw this film last month. I liked it pretty well. Fictional
representation of a real problem.
***I liked the subject matter, not the presentation. A documentary approach
would have been much better.

***If you're on this list, you must see this movie. Combine Reefer Madness
and Blood Feast, add in a killer turkey, and you have this movie. It is one
of the strangest movies out there and one that you won't believe exists even
as you are watching it.
Motel Hell

***I'm pretty sure everyone here has already seen this flick. Hey, when they
eventually remake every horror movie of the past, are they gonna start
remaking the remakes?
Bad Taste
Before Peter Jackson became famous for bringing Lord of the Rings to
the screen, he made Bad Taste. Intergalactic fast food chain has
shown up on earth to find people to be on the menu.
***I love showing this flick to people who don't know about Jackson's
pre-Rings work. Another good one is Meet the Feebles. And, of course, Dead
Alive. Heavenly Creatures is great also.
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes
What happens when food attacks. Not one of my favorite films but
still a good concept for a parody.
***This is probably the stupidest movie ever made. I'll watch it every now
and then, and it's still kind of fun. But this was supposed to be funny
right?
Soylent Green
A cult classic. Harry Harrison's solution to the over population
problem. One of my favorite scenes on "The Simpsons" was where they
did a flash forward to the future and a grown up Bart and geriatric

is drooling over the concession stand display "Ummmm, soylent green".
***I watched this when I was a kid and didn't like it. Shoud probably give
it another go. It's just that the whole surprise is utterly ruined.
Monty Python's Meaning of Life
While the movie isn't all about eating the restaurant skit still
deserves mentioning. On the same vein there is a similar scene in
"Stand By Me".
***Huh, I'm surprised I never really thought about that. Did Meaning of Life
come before Stand By Me?
Alferd Packer: The Musical aka Cannibal: the Musical
Before South Park Trey Parker and Matt Stone created the only musical

***A favorite of mine. This is super low-budget, but has the same humor Matt
and Trey would later use weekly on South Park. Released by Troma.

Blood FreakHoly CRAP that sounds entertaining based on your description. Thank you, Larry. I will be seeing this film. You don't have it by any chance, do you Rob?

Hamburger... The Motion Picture Russel has been expelled from every college he has gone to Busterburger University is his last hope. 80's R-rated cheese with lots of nudity and fart jokes.
Alferd Packer: The Musical aka Cannibal: the Musical
Don't expect great movie viewing. But it is a lot of fun.
Thank you for these. I hadn't seen a number of them, and now will be looking for most.
>Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle
I forgot about this one. Haven't seen it yet. On the list.
>Blood Freak
That is fascinating!! I will definitely be looking for this one.
>Motel Hell
Hmm. And on the tip of my tongue I can remember I saw a movie about some yuppies, or something, who planted people in their garden, and ate them later. Can't remember the title. It was okay.
>Bad Taste
Hadn't mentioned TV episodes: To Serve Man (Twilight Zone?) -- I have always _LOVED_ that story.
>Soylent Green
How could I _possibly_ forget this??? Charleton Heston, and Edward G. Robinson together, _and_ a weird storyline? Positively priceless.
>Monty Python's Meaning of Life
Reminder to watch it again. That scene is not only one of my favourites but my mother (who HATES the "f" word will wander around the house quoting that scene whenever she's in a silly mood.
>Alferd Packer: The Musical aka Cannibal: the Musical
I have _so_ wanted to see this ever since I heard about it. Thought it was only a play (musical, et al.). Never wondered if it was a movie. Now looking for it.
Again, thank you,
Ss
Funny you should bring this up. We were watching a movie called "Free
Enterprise" the other night. This is a romantic comedy somewhat in
the vein of "High Fidelity" except with Sci-Fi movies instead of
music. Pretty good movie about a couple of sci-fi geeks hitting 30.
Good performance by William Shatner as his asshole Bill character he
does a great rap song at the end, billed as the "artist formally known
as Shatner". The movie was good as romantic comedies go, but unless
you are a Sci-Fi geek about half the jokes will be lost on you.
Anyway if you watch this movie be sure to watch the credits. Mixed
amongst the normal credits are some crazy credits among them
No thanks to El Nino

Funny. Thank you.
