Same Toy Different Kids

According the credits a kid named Bateman was the one who donned the ET Extra Terrestrial image in the film Child's Play. For some reason they brought back the child isolation toy relationship subject manner only to turn it into a stereotypical horror movie filled with violence and grotesque sequences that would entertain kids who may not be all right. Corvette Summer star Mark Hamil voiced the character Chuckie who actually was named Buddy but with a small dialogue reference the plot point was made. Tim Matheson brings credibility to the corporate negligence issue while the single mother played by Aubrey Plaza tries to make sure this film has importance. Basically, a depressed worker in Vietnam places a chip into a doll and removes computer issues and gives the doll Buddy evil power. When it lands in a low income area with a lonely child the friendship turns terroristic as the toy kills off friendly relations. Child Play should of had a stronger message but due to the advertising marketing needs in only fool around in elementary fashion.
