Good mooring all,
It is hard to believe that this Friday marks the 10th anniversary of the B/ IAS projects closing event, Night of 1000 pumpkins. This Friday is also Burien’s Dia de los Muertos celebration , a legacy event run by the city and the original partners in our Night of 1000 Pumpkins event. It’s a beautiful thing when history lives, become its own and has a life beyond the original founders.
Thank you to all who helped make the B/ IAS project real and to all who have followed Kathy and I in many crazy events since then.
If you’re interested in seeing one of the many things the B/ IAS helped bring together then check out the Dia de los Muertos event this Friday night, especially if you have kids!
