Antares is expected to be visible naked eye in broad daylight atleast for the
next couple of months or so. Go take a look outside towards the dawn, or just
look up tomorrow morning.

party on MG Road - Brigade Road junction to catch this rare, once in a
lifetime event.

I don't know whether it will be worth pointing telescopes to a
supernova. What will we see?

Antares (Alpha Scorpii / JyeshTha) has just exploded into a mag -14 supernova.
(23:00 IST / 17:30 UT)
