Hi All,
On behalf of the volunteers of BAS, I am glad to announce the commencement of registrations for the BAS Star Party of January 2025, on the new moon weekend of December January 25, 26, 27, 28 & 29th 2025 under the pristine dark skies of Coorg.
Registrations are open, and we have limited capacity at the venue, so hurry up and book a slot soon. Upon registration, you can start preparing for the trip - reading about astronomy, preparing and packaging your gear, spending time with Stellarium (or star charts), understanding constellations in the night sky, preparing observation lists, and/or targets to shoot (if you are into AP), etc. The location is about 7Km from Talacauvery Temple. We will share the exact location after registration and route maps to assist you in travel.
Please watch out for carpooling options too.
Upon successful registration, you will be presented with a smaller Telegram group link for coordination (temporarily). (The page will also automatically redirect to the Telegram group after about 15 seconds).
A receipt of the payment (pdf) and the registration details will be sent to your email.
Please do read the instructions in full, as some guidelines might change, and also to understand the facilities and options available. Please complete the registration only if you are 100% confirmed to go.
No Cancellations and Refunds are allowed once registered.
