North Valley 300k pre ride report

Hello Randos!
Steve Atkins has pre ridden the North Valley 300k and quickly wrote his report on his ride. Here is a link to his report: https://cyclewhitney.blogspot.com/2023/01/2023-north-valley-300km.html
One thing to note is that the Mesa Marathon is being held on Feb 4th. The marathon starts at the summit of Usery Pass and travels along some of our 300k route. The runners should be well clear of the route by the time our riders arrive, but the signage states the road will be closed until 2pm. I will be checking with the event officials to see what issues this may cause us. If it is, indeed, closed to cyclists, I will need to route around this area.
