If you’re thinking about attempting Paris-Brest-Paris in
2023, be aware that preregistration begins soon at this
site:
https://www.paris-brest-paris.org/en/how-to-register/
When preregistration opens for you depends on the longest
Audex Club Parisien (ACP) or Randonneurs Mondiaux (RM) event
you completed in 2022, as follows:
1000/1200/1200+ kilometers: January 14
600 kilometers: January 28
400 kilometers: February 11
300 kilometers: February 25
200 kilometers: March 11
In each case, preregistration opens at noon French time,
which will equal 4 a.m. Arizona time.
Preregistration is only the first step on your way to
Rambouillet for the ride start.
Registration opens (for preregistered riders) on May 27. If
spaces are still available, it opens for non-preregistered
riders on June 3.
In addition, you must qualify by completing a full SR series
(200k, 300k, 400k, 600k), with the possibility of
substituting a longer ride for a shorter ride (e.g., a
second 300 for a 200).
Details are available on the
paris-brest-paris.org <
http://paris-brest-paris.org/>
website. In addition, the ACP tends to announce news and
updates on their Facebook page.
