Thankyou very much for your assistance thus far and I really appreciate it.

I would be interested to know whether Do Couto is a common name in Portugal?

I am interested in doing a little more research, but if the name is fairly common it will be "Needle in the haystack" stuff.

I have been very lucky so far but maybe I have come to to the end of it ,but you never know?

Hi Rob W,

I'd say the name would be medium in how common it is. It may be more common in some areas than others though.
