Hola. Soy Karina Pereyra, estoy trabajando en mi genealigia  hace poco pude abrir mi linea paterna y me ha llevado a San Jorge, Açoes,es mi antepasado de 8 generacion, Manoel Pereira, buscando me encontre con esta partida de Baustimo pero no he podido entendela. Me podran ayudar los que entienden?

I think Manuel is the son of Simão Pereira and wife Barbara Machado. (maybe. I need to make it larger).

Born 1 Nov 1697

Godparents: Manuel Pereira son of Bartolomeu Pereira (it could be Ferreira also - I need to make it larger) and Maria Machado who I think is his wife.

Manuel, son of Simão Pereira and wife Barbara Machado, natives and living in this freguesia (Santiago of Ribeira Seca), born 1 Nov 1697, baptized on the 5th of the same.

Godparents: Manuel Ferreira son of Bartolomeu Ferreira, and Maria Machado WIFE OF BARTOLOMEU PEREIRA all of this freguesia.

Bartolomeu Pereira might be related to Simão Pereia.
