Topo marriage side note

This is what I have date of marriage: 11 Aug 1804 in Topo
 Antonio Luiz son of Manuel Luiz Pereira and Isabel ___________  Topo

Angela Marianna daughter of Manuel Silveira _______ and Anna Maria Do Rozario   Ribeira Seca

I can see that it looks like dates in the margin, but do not know what they are for

Hi Marilyn,

The date is correct.

The groom's mom is Isabella d'Oliveira, both parents natives and parishioners of the referenced Matriz.

Bride's dad might say Manuel Silveira Pregorio. That's weird. Someone else will have to look. If it's a name, it's one I have never encountered before. You have the rest right.

I think the dates in the margin may be referring to the baptism of the groom and bride. It literally translates to:
They were born
He on 12 of May 1772
She on 28 of March 1783.

I can see that it looks like dates in the margin, but do not know what they are for  I “think” that is their birthdates.  Antonio Luiz 12 May 1772 and Angela Marianna 28 March 1783.  Hopefully, someone else will chime in too.  Sam

Duh, yes, Angela got it. Should have compared the "P" to Parish in the line below. It is one funny looking G though!

The margin notes are their birth dates: Nasceirao ele em 15 de Janr.o de 1776, ella em 6 de Fevr.o de 1778. / Born, ele/the groom Jan 15 1776, the bride [ela] Feb 6 1778.

My apologies, gave you the opposite record.  Here’s their birthdates. Re An.to Luiz com Angella Marianna.  Born: His May 12 1782, Hers Mar 28 1783.

I looked up the baptism for Angela and her father is listed as Manuel Silveira Gregorio

I am just starting to do research on them. I just found their names a marriage record for my relative, Maria Victorina.

Do you have move information for them that you would share?
