Hello all,
I am looking for assistance for the couple below from a branch in my tree that ends with them.  I am hoping someone may have them in a tree or come across their names that will help me continue their linage.

In general from what i have found till now; I believe they may have lived in Lomba da Maia even though their kids were baptized in Maia as records did not start till 1833 however Witnesses/testament were noted from Lomba in most cases.

Any help would be appreciated. Ana

Hi Ana.  I think this may be João and Antonia's marriage but their names are given differently.  The groom João Moniz has Francisco Moniz as his father's name but his mother's was Maria do Couto so he may have also gone by João do Couto.  The bride's name is given as Antonia de Medeiros but she may have otherwise used her father's name which Ferreira.  It's the record on the left.  What do you think?

Bill has it right. They are here under different names--

page 41 verso, 16-1801
They married as Joao Moniz and Antonia de Medeiros, but most other records say they are Joao do Couto and Antonia Ferreira; he is son of Francisco Moniz de
[Bettencourt] defunto and Maria do Couto; she is filha de Antonio Ferreira and Maria do Couto.

Here is Joam's baptism that shows he was born 5 Feb 1776 to Francisco Moniz Bitancurte (Bettencourt) and Maria do Couto.  So his actual age upon death in 1851 was 75 (close to 80) https://culturacores.azores.gov.pt/biblioteca_digital/SMG-RG-MAIA-B-1774-1783/SMG-RG-MAIA-B-1774-1783_item1/index.html?page=27
