My regional genealogy society (Southern California Genealogy Society) asked if I could give a lecture on tracing immigrant ancestors. I said yes, but all my examples are for Portuguese ancestors and they were fine with that. Also, I usually present this in 4 lectures. The best they could do was give me a 1.5 to 2 hour block. So it's an overview of how to trace an immigrant.
It's virtual and free! It's this coming Saturday, April 11th at 1 pm PDT (2pm MDT, 3pm CDT, 4 pm EDT, etc). All you have to do is register.
