marriage in mãe de deus, povoação, São Miguel

I would like to share a situation that seems to be the end of the line for anyone who encounters something similar. a marriage that took place in 1746 in the Matriz Mãe de Deus, in the village Povoação, of São Miguel, between Manoel Furtado and Izabel de Andrade:

Izabel was born in this same parish in 1724:

However, for Manoel we have this birth record in 1735:

How is this situation possible? Manoel would have been only 11 years old at the time of the marriage.
I need help solving this mystery!

The family had more than one Manuel. Keep going back in time to find the correct Manuel.

Similar thing happened when I was search Ing
for my third grandfather (tatarabuelo).
In mormons' web said he was born in 1806 and
I had his marriage on 1811. A precocious child,
I may say !!!

Doing as Cheri says, I finally got his baptism 
certificate on 1783.

It took some time.

Don't stop looking.

They are in RR.

3 - João Moniz Freire ou Norte ou Dutra (do § 1.º), baptizado nos Fenais da Ajuda a 19.3.1668. Casou neste lugar a 13.5.1686 com Isabel Moreira, filha de Francisco Luís, serralheiro e Isabel Moreira.

Tiveram:

4 - Maria Dutra, que casou nos Fenais da Ajuda a 4.10.1715 com José de Sousa, de Vila Franca, filho de Manuel Pereira e Catarina de Sousa.

4 - José Roiz Moreira, ou Norte que segue:

4 - Victória Moreira, que casou nos Fenais da Ajuda a 27.3.1720 com Francisco Vieira Rebelo, baptizado na Matriz da Ribeira Grande, filho de António Fernandes Gamilho e Bárbara Rebelo.

4 - Mateus Roiz, natural dos Fenais Vera Cruz e morador na Povoação depois de casado. Casou na Povoação a 27.12.1722 com Lusia de Andrade, filha de Manuel Martins e Maria de Oliveira, da Lagoa.

 Tiveram:

 5 - Isabel Furtado de Andrade, ou Isabel de Andrade, que casou na Povoação a 1.6.1746 com Manuel Furtado Cardoso, filho de António Cardoso e Joana Furtado.

Roiz is the old abbreviation for Rodrigues.
