António de Frias Camelo x Catarina Cabral, Lagoa, S. Miguel 1650-1680

Hi,

I am looking for the marriage record of António de Frias Camelo & Catarina Cabral, mid 17th century.

Here's all I know: 

They were born in Lagoa and lived in Santa Cruz, where they had a daughter Maria de Frias Cabral (baptism record not found), according to her marriage record.

One of António de Frias Camelo's or Catarina Cabral's parents had the surname Vaz (carried by Maria de Frias Cabral's children; none of her husband's ancestors going back 3 generations had the surname Vaz). 

I've only been able to find António de Frias Camelo's death record on February 25, 1711, confirming that they lived in Santa Cruz, Lagoa:

In this parish, the book of marriages is missing records from 1676 to 1688, but even assuming that they got married during this period, why can't I find any children of this couple born between 1676 and 1706? That's strange. 

All I've found was this record:

This Maria was the daughter of a Catarina Fernandes (not Cabral) and her godparents were Maria Ferreira, wife of Manuel de Pimentel (I descend from them through a an ancestor who descends from both couples) and Antonio de Frias, son of Captain Bartolomeu de Frias, but I think that this Antonio de Frias married Isabel do Rego and his not the same as Antonio de Frias Camelo.

I think I've probably confused you even more than I am, but if you know more, please share whatever information you have with me.
