Dominques LUIS and Francisca Jacintha parents of Maria Jacintha who married Antonio Francisco CATHARINA. Maria and Antonio’s children were Antonio, Rosa Jacinta, Manoel Francisco, Jose Francisco & Maria Jacintha. 

 

Maria Jacinta, daughter of the above, married Francisco Jose de FARIA.  There children were:  Antonio Francisco, Maria Francisca, Filimena, Anna, Francisco, Francisco, Senhorina and Jose.  I believe all of these children went by the surname Faria but; I am not sure.  (Pedro Miguel)

 

Parents of Antonio Francisco Catharina were:  Jose Francisco (Catharina?) and Maria da Conceicao.  Parents of Jose Francisco (Catharina?) were: Antonio Francisco CATHARINA and Maria FRANCISCA.  Parents of Antonio Francisco Catharina were: Antonio Francisco de Catharina and Teresa Ignacia.  Each of these Antonio Francisco Catharinas were a different generation. Jose Francisco de FARIA married Rosa Jacintha and one of their children was:  Jose Francisco de FARIA who married Teresa Francisca FURTADO  (Pedro Miguel, Faial)

 

Teresa Francisca Furtado’s parents were:  Francisco FURTADO and Thomazia FRANCISCA.     Francisco Furtado’s parents were:  Francisco Silveria FURTADO and Maria Jacintha  (Pedro Miguel, Faial)

JOSE SOARES CORDEIRO.  My guess is the time frame you might find him in
would be anywhere from 1863 to the 1880s.

JACINTA UMBELINA MOURA, Jose Soares Cordeiro's wife.  My guess would be the
same time frame as above.

JOSE SOARES COELHO, Jose Soares Cordeiro's son, born, I believe, 11 May
1883.  

MARIA FILOMENA (TAVARES DO REGO), Jose Soares Coelho's wife.  Her father was
Antonio Tavares do Rego and her mother was Maria Jose Soares, circa  1863 or
1873 is my best guess.  I am not sure what surname Maria Filomena went by in
the Azores. She was born 6 March 1893.

JOSE SOARES COELHO AND MARIA FILOMENA married between Sept. 1904 and
June 1909.  Since they immigrated, with no children, via Boston in June
1909, I would guess closer to that date.   Jose came over alone in Sept.
1904.then went back, married Maria Filomena and returned to the U.S.

Going farther back, I have:  FERMINO TAVARES DO REGO AND DONA MARIA TAVARES
DE FIGUEIREDO.  They were the parents of Antone Tavares do Rego and as such,
I would guess their time frame for birth to be about 1830's or 40's.
Marriage about 1860's or 50's.

ANTONIO JOAQUIM DE MOURA AND MARIA LUISA parents of Maria Jose Soares.  My
best guess is their birth would have been about 1810's to 20's.

That's my list.  If you or anyone has any information on any of the above I
would be forever indebted to you if you would share it with me.  I am not
having much luck reading the records at the FHC.  Thank you in advance for any efforts you may

As far as I know, they are from Capelo, not too far back, mid to early
1800's I'd say. I don't have much information about them.

Great grandfather: Sergio Joaquim Ferreora; born Horta, Faial, 30 August 1838;

 

His parents:Jose Joaquim Ferreira, born Sao Mateus, Madalena, Pico and Maria Luisa,  born Conceicao, Horta, Faial.They were married 20 May 1816 in Horta.

 

 I need her parents, Antonio Francisco and his wife, Francisca Luisa.
