Top left. I can make out that Manoel Tavares de Resendes marries in this concelho on the 21^st of May of the current year (1939?) somebody de Jesus something, something, daughter of Jose de something Rego and Maria Jose ?? natural de parish of Vila do Porto?

 

Can anyone confirm and fill in the blanks for me?

I don't read Manuel's status as married. He can't be married if he's getting married. It doesn't say single and it doesn't look like widowed. Someone else will have to get that word.

I'm reading that the date in the text is 21 May 1000 900 20 and 7. Not the current year.

Bride is Ana de Jesus something, 20 and 1 years, single, daughter of Jose de Something do Rego and Maria (would be my guess) Jose, natives of the referenced parish? Scribe gets crazy at the bottom.

We need more help on this!

Thanks so much Angela.  With this help, I was able to find Adelina’s birth record but; now I’m totally lost on this side note.  To me, all the letters are so blurred, I can’t make anything out.  Would it be possible for you to take a look and see if you can make anything out?  It’s #61, bottom right.
