Unable to send mails from Azkaban2.1 on failure via a relay host

Hello,

I am trying to send email notifications from Azkaban in case the jobs fails.

I tried setting the "job.failure.email" property in the azkaban.properties file as well as in the job itself.

But it is not working.

We have a relay server to be used to send out mails in my office.

Can someone please help me out.

Any sample configuration for such a scenario would be of great help.

I want to know what values to be entered for-

mail.sender=

mail.smtp.host=

mail.user=

mail.password=

Hey Yogini,

For setting email notifications, see the Azkaban Job Configurations documentation.  I usually just set "notify.emails".  For your mail server settings, I would talk to your IT team and ask them to help you set up an Azkaban sender account and configure the mail settings properly.

Hi ,

i am able to send success/failures alerts from azkaban UI.

we are getting alerts when we give emailids like kri...@tsi.co.nz.

but when i try the same with DL(group distribution id like admin...@tsi.co.nz) we are not getting alerts.

Could you please suggest anything here.
