Dear Visu,

Any thoughts of a version for Mac users? I shifted to Mac about 3-4 months back and I feel I lost my hands without Azhagi for Mac.

Yours,

Murali Ramachandran.

Visu,

Thanks a lot for the response in your busy schedule.

I am using Anjal as tamil input in Mac but some characters are not coming out correctly.  I have started using my existing windows laptop for writing in Tamil freely using Azhagi and for all other purposes using Mac.

Thanks a lot.

Yours,

Murali.

Dear Murali,

My warm greetings and enquiries.

Thanks for your kind information reg. Anjal. I have included the same in http://azhagi.com/helptips.html#azmaclinuxandroid .

By the by, I see that Wine (winehq.org) now supports MAC also. So, possibly, what I have suggested for Linux can be tried for MAC also. Hence, if at all possible for you and if ever your time/situation permits, kindly try installing Azhagi (Azhagi+ too, if possible) under Wine in Mac and kindly let me know the results - which I can pass on to the benefit of others.

There are users of Azhagi who use the in-built editors (both non-unicode and Unicode) alone. They are happy with the same (for their particular requirements) as the in-built editors provide more ease in transliteration via "Extended editing" and "Extended mode". So, even if Azhagi's inbuilt editors alone work, that itself will be good news for users.

My best wishes, as ever.

Kind regards
