I was just asked by Megan from Adobe if this group was still active. It was kind of sad to say "no".

Ah well. I hope all of you are doing wonderful in life. Happy trails and safe travels. May what ever compiler errors you encounter leave the color in your hair and your voice at an even tone.

Happy coding.

Bob

Sad to see the group die out. It was a good time while I was in Phoenix.

I’d be curious if anyone is still using Flash?

Thanks everyone.

Still using Flash, but mostly supporting existing stuff not developing new stuff.

This group was my lifeline for quite a while. Def’ sad to see it go the way of the dodo.

Oh and I haven’t touched Flash in about 2’sh years. It dwindled a bit before then besides my own media players I was pushing.

I work for a company with a major Flex project and only occasionally comment on issues/problems. -_-

Very sad indeed. The group had some great minds attached to it.

The only Flash I use is still with my streaming video but it really is limited to the ready-built players.  Sometimes I'm asked to compile a new one with a few lines of new code but nothing really worth mentioning.

Ah, the FPUG. Had some good times with this group.

At Shutterfly we still have a team maintaining our Flex app, and it still generates millions in revenue. But most of our SEs have long since moved onto an AngularJS replacement and its supporting services (Node development, in my case). In my book, Flex is still superior to any front-end JS framework I've encountered.

Flash outlived Steve Jobs. Who'd have thunk it.

Believe it or not, lots of flash is still being used. Lots of revenue still pouring through it and I doubt it is going away any time soon.

But then again... "Anymore, I don’t even see the code. All I see is blonde, brunette, iOS, android. Hey, you uh… want a drink?"

;)

The people who still work with flash are making bank right now. :)

Some one has to support legacy apps!
