Why every time I start a game my shutouts off without warning. Its not an overheating problem . I checked.I tried switching outlets and using a power supply box and in combination worked but now it does not?

What if you cleaned the airways and the fan and it still does the same thing. This all started when I tried playing horizon zero dawn when the data for the application went corrupt and ruined all my data so I wiped the system and reinstalled all my data except for the horizon data . Was fine for about a day then I woke up to my system wouldn't turn on and when it did turn on it said there's an error and got stuck in this infinite loop . Well I rebuilt the database and it was fine again but now I suffer the same problem of when I boot up a game it'll shut down by itself . I can watch Netflix for hours and it's fine but once I try to boot up a game it powers down

Had the same issue with original PS4, and found the fan was at fault, i found it beep a few times before switching off, have since replaced the fan and now is fine, also cleaned and re-added thermal paste to help with the heat........just got to fix the blu ray drive now as thats faulty.

Ok nice but WHAT WORKED FOR YOU?? WHICH OPTION WORPT FOR YOU KISS I HAVE SEEN A LOT OF OPTIONS BUT YOU MENTION NONE OF THEM THE THERE ARE STILL PEOPLE WITH THIS PROBLEM SO IT WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL THAT YOU MENTION YOUR SOLUTION

i had the same problem with my ps4 slim and what i did was simply remove the internal hard drive and first inspect it for any damage inside and out, and when i found none, l looked at its connection part. i saw it was burnt out so i immediately bought an external hard drive to save all my data and went online and bought a new hard drive. then, i simply connected the new drive and reloaded all my data. not only was i able to enter a game (after weeks) i was also seeing my playstation running faster, smoother, and all in all, better!

I had this exact same issue with a ps4 I bought 2nd hand, privately. a month after I got it it started randomly shutting off or putting it into rest mode, for about three months. none of the suggested remedies helped me.

Yeah I had mine saying during games the ps4 was too hot although it was not hot to touch. Cleaned out the inside of dust and put it all back together again then upon starting it starts fine but soon as I start a game (RB6 siege) it gets louder and shuts off about 30 secs after loading the game any solutions or could it just be knackered ?

Oh, and for iPhone 15 peoples, the existing two-years free applies. Meaning that on the whole, Apple has deferred this potential-payment-problem decision till 2025. These days, the feature is available in the following countries, for both iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 users.

The core difference with an app like RideWithGPS is that it also has sensor support (even Garmin Varia radar integration), as well as uploads to all the various 3rd party platforms like a head unit (whereas Google Maps will most definitely not upload to Strava).

Two Things:
1-I like the PeakDesign phone holder on the handle bars, good choice!
2-I wish Peloton would allow none Peloton bikes to connect to their system, specifically for their scenic rides. I like to do those rides from time-to-time, but I am not a fan of the bike itself as I prefer to ride my Cannondale on my Wahoo.

Most other communicators (EPIRB/PLB, 911 call on a cell phone) will pass through an emergency call without any other charges, so long as the device functions. I think where Garmin and others in the satellite device arena are making their money is non-emergency check-ins and tracking, as well as messaging, rather than on a cost per emergency call.

I doubt it will ever happen, but it would be interesting if NordicTrack finally feels enough pressure to add Netflix to its platform after years of users having to use all kinds of workarounds to get it working.

Hi Ray, on my peloton bike+ (UK based) I only see the Disney App in the Beta Entertainment function. Is there a way of getting access to more providers or is all pushed depending on your country etc? There is the netflix app hidden away in the Apps area but there is no ride data displayed in a sidebar so pretty useless. Anyone else had similar experiences?

It sounds like you have taken the proper steps to try to fix the problem, but unfortunately, it looks like the WD box is not compatible with your TV. Netflix checks to see that your TV has HDCP copy protection, and it sounds like that handshake is failing.

With a lot of TVs, there is not too much difference between using the HDMI vs the component inputs, especially streaming with Netflix. Even if you have a very fast internet connection, the maximum bitrate from Netflix tops out at about 3600 Kbps. Component video should handle that full bitrate with no problems. Are you sure that when you set the video output to component, that you also set the frequency/resolution to 1080i (or something appropriate for your TV)? Even though you see a difference between HDMI and component while playing mkvs, there should be virtually no difference while streaming Netflix.

I am having the same HDMI issue here I cannot watch Netflix anymore using the HDMI connection since my DLP TV is slightly old Netflix will not display any video the TV. All other apps on the WD TV Live work with the HDMI connection.

I just wanted to confirm before buying the RGB cables (Component) that when setting the WD TV Live to composite which is the only option in video setting option one has listed that I will get to watch Netflix in HD using RGB (Component) connection. I know this should work since my cable HD box is setup the same way. Just the fact that on the WD TV Live there is nolisting for component in the video setting only composite.

Before I returned the WD TV LIVE I did a test using the composite cable, and my HDTV (DLP) was upscaling the the picture. From what I saw via composite was pretty decent in 4:3 HD content from Netflix (old Hawaii five - O), and the standard 16:9 HD stuff. My Main concern was the PQ if it was down scaled. (how will the Netflix PQ look will the video be smaller in size, and etc) for which no changed occurred when going composite but the PQ which was still very decent Since Composite looks very decent going component on the WD TV live HUB will result in even a better NetFlix PQ if it still going to 480P.

On a good note for Netflix streamers who have the HDMI issue: There no different in PQ using component or HDMI I was shocked I was expecting a PQ downgrade since it was at 480p@ 50hz. I cannot tell any difference on any HD feeds I watch from Netflix streaming everything extremely sharp with no blurr or anything.

When I tested the composite output for kicks Netflix was still very sharp and I compared to my Analog cable channels for which Netflix at 480I is miles a head since my analog cable channels are also coming into my TV at 480I (with out a cable box). There is a noticable difference my analog cable channels are blurry and fuzzy. Where as Netflix is totally sharp even on composite cables. Again I wonder what is Netflix video really encoded at?

If I had to name one thing that I really, really dislike about Netflix I'd pick the auto-playing trailers on the site. Netflix calls these video previews, and they play automatically whenever you hover over a title for a short period.

I was not a subscriber for some time but subscribed again this month planning to watch some of the shows for a couple of months before ending my subscription again (there is not enough on Netflix to keep me subscribed all year long).

I watch Netflix on a Smart TV and on the computer, and experienced auto-playing trailers on both devices. Whenever you hover over a title for a short period, Netflix starts to play a preview automatically.

Update: Netflix, finally, added an option to disable automatic previews of shows and movies on all devices. All that it takes is to open the profile and disable the option. End

Need to go to the bathroom while browsing Netflix? You can be certain that a trailer is going to play when you come back. Need to read a title of a show or discuss what to watch? Trailers are going to be played almost certainly.

It is especially frustrating if you are just browsing Netflix. Hover over a title for too long? A preview is going to be played. Since you are browsing, it may happen several times before you pick a title to watch.

Netflix offers no options to disable the behavior and has not made any announcement regarding it. The chance of Netflix adding an option to the user interface to block video previews on the site is slim.

I tested various extensions that you can run in web browsers to tame Netflix. My requirements were simple: stop Netflix from auto-playing content on the site without interfering with other functionality and require as few permissions as possible.

Netflix Classic is a free extension for Google Chrome that ticks all the right boxes. The only permission that it requests is to access Netflix, and the only thing that it does is block auto-play. I took it for a test ride and the extension blocked any auto-playing content on Netflix effectively. The extension works out of the box

Netflix Preview is an alternative. It is available for Chrome and Firefox, and blocks previews on Netflix effectively as well. Like Netflix Classic, all you have to do is install the extension in your browser of choice to stop the behavior on Netflix.

Agreed, after years of subscribing and the previews blasting out has done me in at last. I like watching things blind and never watch trailers. Am out after this month rolls on. Prime Video will do til Netflix amend their ways.

This is most annoying as I often have my kids with me whilst browsing for something we can watch as a family. Some films will not show up in the kids profile so I have to use mine, and then the main trailer is showing violence from another trailer. I often get so frustrated and angry at the constant bombardment that I have to leave it for a few minutes. I HATE this feature.
