During the debate nothing was said with respect to the upcoming World Youth Festival to be hosted by NYDA/ANCYL/YCL from 13 - 21 Dec 2010 in Tshwane. I think AZAYO can amend the call by pronouncing on the event.
Also during the debate the DA youth claimed to have made the call long time ago for the disbandment of NYDA in its current form to include youth outside political circles. From an ordinary person’s view point, both AZAYO and DA youth are saying the same thing (which I do not have a problem with) but AZAYO needs to be very clear in packaging its message. I think AZAYO can maximise this opportunity by pronouncing on the establishment of an alternative body that would best serve the youth of the country. There AZAYO would need to have depth because the media would be interested to know the alternative body.

Well said comrade Fanisile. Comrades have outdone themselves in that interview. They have managed to convince the public of the lies paddled by the CEO of NYDA, their failure to achieve the very objectives they have set for themselves. Stephen guy was at pains trying to paint a brighter picture about the situation. In all honesty, Stephen was not successful, judging by the angry callers who made it clear that they were not fools or ignorant. I do think that this morning’s talk has succeeded in exposing both the ANC and its youth wing that they are mischievous, unscrupulous and do not pretend to serve anyone but themselves. Selfish indeed.
But one point were the DA youth had a tactical advantage over us was that, they referred to their mother body more often than we deed of course by virtue of their name, they could not be confuse with other white party. Unlike AZAYO which from an unsuspecting mind could come from even PAC. Comrades why no AZAPO YOUTH-AZAYO? TO CLEAR CONFUSION IN ADVANCE. I DO THINK WE HAVE A STANDING RESOLUTION IN THIS REGARD. ITS ABOUT TIME IT SI USED.
