It appears that all the bees (desert bees) in Tucson have died or gone
away. There is no way that my fruit trees can be pollinated. If anyone
has any new info on the bee population in Tucson, I can bee [joke] reached

I don't have access to a Tucson phone directory but check under
"associations" in the yellow pages. Tucson is host to a large
association of bee keepers. They meet regularly at Udall Park. If
you don't have any luck, let me know; I'm sure that I can dig an old
phone number or name up.

A California Highway Patrolman pulled into a rest area where a truck
load of bee hives was parked. An errant bee stung the patrolman. The
patrolman then cited the driver for "failing to secure his load".

A true but funny story; just thought I'd throw it in for good measure!
