AZ spoke on “The Wheel” in an Instagram post he uploaded earlier today. He also included a pre-order link for his new album.

In the caption for the post, which includes the Doe or Die 2 album cover, the rap legend wrote: “Thank you for all the feed back., The wheel is unanimous!! Video drop next week!! Help make it #1 ( THE WAIT IS OVER)!!!! Doe or Die 2 drop on 9/10 You can preorder now.”

With deft wordplay and malleable flows, the original Doe or Die represented 1990s boom bap at its best. Based on the first single from the project, as well its array of features, Doe or Die 2 will be a modernized version of the project, infusing all the best elements of the original while giving shine to artists who came up in the years after the album.
