National Social Security Fund Act, 2013 has been enacted to take effect from 10 January 2014. It contains provisions materially different from the old NSSF Act. Accordingly, we prepared a brief write-up to assist the clients to understand the applicability of the Act to the clients and their personnel.

Please find the attachment of the write-up in PDF Form. Since the write-up is brief, it cannot cover the provisions of the entire Act and the Schedules made thereunder.

 

Please, therefore, read the Act to understand the manner in which the social security scenario is poised to be changed with the promulgation of the NSSF Act. Please find the PDF copy of the NSSF Act attached, together with the Public Notice issued by NSSF on the immediate steps to be taken by the Fund members and employers.
