Thank you very much for attending our referee training last Thursday and Sunday. You did very well on the test, and are now certified as a regional referee. Congratulations!

In order to referee a game you need to take an online course called Safe Haven. Safe Haven is AYSO’s program to ensure the safety of players and adult volunteers. Please sign up for it at http://www.aysotraining.org/. It’s a brief online course that you can take at your own pace and timing.

After you complete Safe Haven, Kristina will log you into the Arbiter system which we discussed on Sunday. Then you’ll be able to sign up to referee games.

Thank you again for volunteering. I hope to see you on the field soon.

I believe that we didn’t give you a uniform on Sunday. Is that right? Kristina can provide you with one, let us know.

I have certified you even though you were unable to attend all of the modules in the training. You might want to refresh your knowledge of the sections you missed. For that I recommend the on-line course. You can take this by logging onto

https://www.aysotraining.org/Default.asp

Log on with your AYSO ID number and last name. Then click “start now” under referee training. The course is called “basic referee”.
