I was born at Greystones Nursing Home Prestwick, on the 20th April 1947 and I would like to know if the building is still there and what it is used for now

I was also born at Greystones Nursing Home  but in 1952. It was on the same road as Old Prestwick Golf Club. I believe the building is still there but I am not aware of it's current use. Next time I am in Prestwick, I will take a look for you.
Denise.

I found this link in prestwick. If you use google earth and look up links road, prestwick, United Kingdom there is a street that goes to the beach. The last house on the corner before the water looks like it could be this building. It is across from a red brick building that says "Malcolm Sargent house".

By the way, my grandmother was named Catherine Sommerville and she was born in prestwick.
She came to Canada in her early 20s, I believe around 1923 and never returned to Scotland.

Thanks,

Katherine
