AFRICAN CLEAN UP CONFERENCE AND AWARD 2018

This is to formally invite you to participate at the 2018 African Clean Up Conference. This knowledge based environmental conference themed The Business of Environmental Sustainability, is scheduled to hold in Lome  Togo from 23rd August to 26th August, 2018. 

African Clean-up Conference is an international paid conference aimed at bringing together Civic Leaders, Nation Builders, Environmentalist, Government Agencies and Officials across Africa to share ideas, knowledge and proffer solutions to issues on Sanitation, Climate Change, Recycling and Waste Management, as well as deliberate on environmental issues confronting their countries.

OBJECTIVE

To provide a platform for Africans to change the African narrative, and set a roadmap for grassroots and national development.

To spotlight environmental and social issues in Africa and make localized solutions available.

To produce developmental change through re-engineering of mindset and setting principles for transformational growth.

To determine achievements in relations to the environmental and community development, determine lapses, and share insightful information for progress.

To address present challenges, proffer practical solutions for application in the African countries.

To provide a platform for local people to take control of their own lives, expressing their own demands and finding their own solutions to their problems.

To Identify for celebration persons and organisations in Africa whose roles or ideas have promoted environmental sustainability, SDGs and community development

To promote the African culture and encourage both local and international relations

The theme for the 2018 conference is unique following the issues raised with the theme of the 2018 World Environment Day - Beat Plastic Pollution. Speakers have been carefully selected to deliver on the mandate of the scope of conference:  Renewable Energy (Employing Renewable Energy in Africa), Safety (Enhancing Environmental Sustainability through OSH Management), Recycling (Enviro-preneurship: The Business of Upcycling and Recycling) and Digital (Digital and Technological involvement for Modern Environmentalism).

Participants at this conference will be rejuvenated, inspired and motivated to attain new level of success in the environmental industry through enhanced educational opportunities, development of ideas for research, establishment of collaboration and get new strategies to further address the Nigerian environmental narrative.

The African Clean Up Conference is organized in partnership with an enterprising environmental organisation in Togo, JVE International. And as part of the conference package, there will be a Tour, Green Exhibition and participation at the Africa Clean Up Award Dinner where Africans who have contributed immensely to Environmental Sustainability and Community Development will be appreciated and encouraged to do better.

CONFERENCE FEE: 

Forty Thousand Naira Only (N40,000) and this covers for:

Accommodation of 3 Nights (2 in a room)

Feeding of Two days  Breakfast and Lunch

Conference T-shirt

Conference Jotter/Pen

Certificate of Participation.
