Dear Colleague,
Survey on outcome of COP 25 and the effects of Covid-19 in the implementation of the outcomes in Nigeria

The 2019 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP25) held in Madrid, Spain, from 2 - 13 December 2019 under the Presidency of the Chilean government. Sadly, COP25 was unable to reach consensus in many areas, thereby pushing decisions to 2020 under Rule 16 of the UN climate process. For instance, decisions were not taken on Article 6 of the Paris Agreement, reporting requirements for transparency and common timeframes for climate pledges.

You are hereby invited to participate in this Survey undertaken by the Climate and Sustainable Development Network (CSDevNet) aimed to elicit stakeholders' inputs in the ongoing country analysis of the outcome of COP25 and the effects of COVID-19 in the implementation of COP25 outcomes in Nigeria.

Established on the 10th of November 2012, Climate and Sustainable Development Network of Nigeria (CSDevNet) is the leading network of civil society organizations working on climate change and sustainable development in Nigeria. CSDevNet is the Nigerian national chapter for Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA) as well as the national focal organization for several international and regional organizations that are relevant to its core focus: climate change and sustainable development.

This Survey is being undertaken on behalf of CSDevNet, by a national consultant: Barr. Nkiruka Stella Okonkwo.

The survey findings will be submitted by CSDevNet to Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA) and Nigerian Government to spur urgent and harmonized actions towards Nigeria’s position for COP26.

This Survey takes about 15 minutes to complete. Be assured that your participation in this Survey is highly
beneficial to the Analysis and your inputs will be integrated into the Survey Report.

Your participation in the survey is also beneficial to you as your name and contact details will be included in the List of Stakeholders that participated in the Survey/Consultations.

Your information will remain confidential. If you have questions at any time about the Survey or the procedures, you may contact [Nkiruka Stella Okonkwo] at [07066817374] or by email [fbin...@gmail.com].

Kindly submit your inputs before Friday October 30, 2020.

Thank you for your time and inputs.

Stay Safe.
