After a successful UN Youth Climate Summit, United Nations Environment Programme, the Kenya UN Interagency Working Group on Youth in partnership with the International Climate Change Development Initiative (ICCDI Africa) known as Climate Wednesday will host a webinar tomorrow Topic: “Championing Climate Action: UN Youth Climate Summit & Way Forward for African Youth” Wednesday, October 23rd at 2:30 EAT to get the outcome of the youth delegates that attended the summit and to hear from them, their experience and the way forward in building a sustainable environment across the Africa continent.
About the Webinar
The UN Youth Climate Summit is a platform for young leaders who are driving climate action to showcase their solutions at the United Nations and to meaningfully engage with decision-makers on the defining issue of our time.
Therefore, the youth need to step up in addressing the climate crisis and save the planet. Fortunately, 2019 has seen the rise of the global youth movement for climate action on a scale never seen before; and this movement has spread to Africa, which has the youngest population in the world. The scale, energy, and momentum of this movement create new opportunities that simply didn’t exist before.
