Selected for the Diaspora Governance Award 2012 is:
His Excellency Senator Ike Ekweremadu
Deputy Senate President, Deputy Senate President, 7th National Assembly, Abuja - Nigeria
Senator Ike Ekweremadu is a Nigerian lawyer from Enugu State. He has been a senator since May 2003 and is currently the Deputy Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He holds both Bachelors and Masters Degree in Law from the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987. More:=>

King of Hohoe Gbi Traditional, Ghana:
Togbe Ngoryifia Céphas Kosi Bansah is a citizen from Hohoe in the Gbi Traditional area of Ghana.
Togbe Bansah was crowned in April 1992 as King of Hohoe and is ruler of 206,000 people in the Volta Region of Ghana. He grew up in Ghana and visited Germany in 1970 for a student exchange program. More:=>

Dr. Peter Godwins is a Nigerian who has been resident in Germany for the past 26 years. Out of interest for Landscaping came the formation of one of his companies, “Landschaftspflege” which was formed in 1995Stuttgart, Germany with only 3 employees. The company’s main activities are landscaping work for the state and the city of Stuttgart. More=>

Monalisa Chinda
Lagos, Nigeria
Ms. Monalisa Chinda hails from Ikwerre in Rivers State. Since her debut into the movie industry, Monalisa has continued to prove her mettle in the industry by giving the so called veterans, a run for their money. With her lovely efforts in all of her released movies, the highly talented Monalisa, is surely gunning for the sky.
She is a graduate of Theatre Arts from the University of Port Harcourt. Mona, as she is called for short, has in the estimation of some critics, proven in so short a time of her incursion into full time acting, that she is world class material and one who has genuine love for the make believe profession. Born and bred in Zimbabwe to a family of successful entrepreneurs, 27 year old Ratidzo Nagel is the continuation of her family entrepreneurial success.
Ratidzo came to Germany in 2007 with the intention of studying Business in Düsseldorf. She spontaneously decided to concentrate on attending workshops on starting business, improving her German language skills, learning about the German tax system, compiling information about universities in Germany as well as visa application processes for foreign students.
